The Lakenheath Hotel is situated within the village of Lakenheath which is promently a faming community. Surrounded by country side we have many areas of interest within close walking and driving distance. For example Lakenheath has a large warren which was formally used for gravel extraction, but now has many rare plant spieces. We are also close to Lakenheath RSPB which is also home to some rare spieces of birds, such as the Bitten.If nature is not your thing then why not jump in the car and visit Ely Cathedrial with amazing views of the surrounding fen lands, or Bury St Edmunds with it's Abbey ruins by the river, dating back to the 6th century.If you fancy a flutter then why not head to Newmarket the racing capital of Suffolk. For night life & shopping we are also only 30 minutes away from the univerity city of Cambridge.
